Message from the Dean

Dean Khurana

Dear Harvard College Parents and Guardians,

Happy New Year!

I returned from winter break last week excited for the months ahead – for what promises to be a robust and eventful spring term. I enjoyed getting to know your student during the fall semester – hearing about their goals and dreams for their futures and what they hope to contribute to our Harvard community during their time here.

These coming months are filled with activity. The College will continue our efforts to strengthen social engagement opportunities in our Houses and support student-driven events on campus. We will be sharing with our students an update on the College’s important work to prevent sexual assault and harassment. And we will continue our work of building a greater sense of inclusion and belonging at Harvard.

I look forward to partnering with your student in this important work during the months ahead.

Rakesh Khurana
Danoff Dean of Harvard College
