Message from the Dean

Dean Khurana

Dear Harvard College Parents and Guardians,

As our students prepare to leave campus for Winter Recess, I know the excitement and elation you feel at the prospect of welcoming them home. I am looking forward to seeing my daughter when she comes home from college next week and to spending time together as a family.

The time I have spent over the past few months getting to know our students and hearing about their hopes and dreams for the future has been inspiring. I have been touched by their contributions to our Harvard community, and I am heartened by how committed they are to making a positive difference in the world. I hope that these weeks of rest and renewal prepare your student to tackle all the work ahead of us in 2017. I am excited to support them and to cheer them on in the new year.

I wish you the happiest of holidays and a joyous New Year!

Rakesh Khurana
Danoff Dean of Harvard College

Harvard at the Holidays

The Harvard Glee Club and Radcliffe Choral Society’s holiday gift came early this year - in the form of a newly commissioned piece of classical music from alum Paul Moravec (’79). Students got an early start to the holiday mood. Check out scenes from this year’s concert.
